But this is where my doubt arises. Is this the incoming Xiaomi Mi 6x or the next Xiaomi Redmi 2S?

The Chinese company gives us dozens of smartphones of the year. In my opinion it is a mistake, however, I can understand. Xiaomi is strong in India and China and these terminals gain above-average prominence in these countries.
That's why the Redmi range is so important. While the western market does not mind investing a little more in an Mi A1 or Mi 6, emerging markets prefer to invest in input terminals.

The smartphone image at TENNA, China's mobile regulator, said a terminal will soon arrive with the design of the future Xiaomi Mi 6X. However, the specifications revealed that although the design is the same the terminal is not.
The Mi 6X box images claim that the terminal will arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. TENAA reports argue that such an unknown smartphone will have a clock 2.0GHz, ie a Snapdragon 625 or 630. Perfect for the Redmi range.
The Redmi range has considerably improved construction in recent years. If this is really the Redmi 2S we can expect a metal-built terminal, 6 "inch 18: 9 screen and a 3000 mAh battery.
Moreover, it was mentioned that it will have 2GB RAM + 16GB RAM and 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Redmi are the ones that offer us this kind of specifications.
Do not misunderstand this post. This information is a speculation. While many believe in a cheap version of the Xiaomi Mi 6X, I prefer to bet on the Xiaomi Redmi 2S.
