At the beginning of the year, the renowned analyst Ming Chi-Kuo predicted that Apple would launch a small magnetic wireless charger for the iPhone 12. Now that we are approaching the launch of the smartphone, here we finally see this accessory.
In a video submitted for publication 9to5 Mac, we can glimpse such a magnetic wireless charger that Apple can launch for the iPhone 12. An accessory that will hardly come included in the smartphone box.
It is not certain whether what we see in the video is a prototype or a development unit that will be made available to manufacturers of accessories for the iPhone 12. In any case, it is confirmed that this wireless charger will be quite small.
According to the rumors, Apple should put some magnets on the back of the iPhone 12. These should be about the same size as the accessory that we see in this video, so it is much smaller than what we are used to in this type of chargers.
It is no accident that this small charger will be magnetic. This will make it connect perfectly to the back of the iPhone 12 so that the smartphone can be charged properly.
iPhone 12 will arrive later than usual
In normal years, these days we would already know the new smartphones from Apple. However, 2020 is anything but normal and that even caused Apple to postpone the presentation and launch of the iPhone 12.
Although nothing is certain, the iPhone 12 is expected to be presented in October. This year, Apple is expected to launch four models to try to cover a wider range of users.
In addition to the iPhone 12, we will have an iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The first two will be the most affordable models, so with small commitments, while the rest will be the real tops of the company.
