iPhone 11 lags behind Xiaomi Mi 9 and OnePlus 7 Pro in camera quality!

Apple has failed to convince DxOMark experts with the iPhone 11 cameras. In the latest test from the independent body, Apple’s mobile phone lagged behind smartphones with the Xiaomi Mi 9 or even OnePlus 7 Pro.

We all know that Xiaomi and OnePlus can be excellent in many attributes, however, the cameras always fall short of expectations. That is certainly why we were surprised to see the iPhone 11 behind these two terminals in particular.

DxOMark ranking with the iPhone 11 behind the Xiaomi Mi 9 and OnePlus 7

smartphones DxOmark iPhone 11, Xiaomi mi 9 and OnePlus 7

The iPhone 11 achieved a total of 112 points in photography and 101 points in video. That is, slightly below last year’s Xiaomi smartphone and considerably below the OnePlus 7 Pro, also released last year.

Xiaomi and OnePlus are improving on smartphone cameras

As much as I mentioned above that the Xiaomi and OnePlus terminals fail in the cameras, it is not always the case. An example of this is the Xiaomi CC9 (Mi Note 10) which is in the 4th position of the ranking.

In other words, both Xiaomi and OnePlus are working hard on their camera software to make it better. However, if you have a Xiaomi and install the GCam (Google Camera App) you will see that we still have a long way to go before Xiaomi finds the solution for its photo sensors.

iPhone 11 is not the top of the range but deserves better cameras

Apple iPhone 11

Apple is one of the companies that most advertises the cameras on the iPhone. The typical “shot on iPhone” advertisements are very beautiful but done in unique settings. That is, in a real test by DxOMark, the iPhone 11 failed to surprise.

In turn, the iPhone 11 Pro Max achieved a considerable ranking by adjusting to 5th place with 117 points.
