In September last year Huami unveiled Amazfit X, a new smartband that promises an extremely ergonomic design with a 92º curvature. I recall that Huami is responsible for the launch of all Xiaomi wearables, and the two companies are constantly associated with each other.
During its September revelation, it was confirmed that Amazfit X would be officially launched during 2020. However, no specific date was revealed. Now the brand has surprised its fans by starting to list a new project on the IndieGogo platform.
For now, it is not yet possible to support the project, as it is not yet open to the public, nor has an established opening date. This post has caused some confusion among fans who expected to see Amazfit X launched earlier this year. As such, it is expected to reach the market during the second half of 2020.
What do we know about Xiaomi Amazfit X?
During his presentation, it was revealed that he will arrive with a 2 “inch AMOLEd screen, presenting considerably larger than the current offerings on the market.
In addition, this new smartband promises 7 days of autonomy, which is not bad, but not fantastic either. Also included are the usual features present in this type of wearable, such as heart rate monitoring and various types of physical activity.
Regarding its resistance, you can count on water resistance up to 5ATM (50 meters deep). So you won’t have to worry about removing the bracelet for any water activity.
Still not sure what your official price will be, you can now register on the IndieGoGo website to ensure you receive a notice as soon as the project is open to the public.
