The news was announced by Huawei on the social network Weibo. The latest version of the manufacturer’s user interface, EMUI 10, has reached 50 million devices globally.
This number now revealed has escalated exponentially, after the manufacturer sent the update via OTA to a large number of global versions of its devices in early January.
EMUI 10 was launched in August 2019
It is good to remember that EMUI 10 was launched in August 2019 in China. It stood out for bringing its users the desired Dark Mode extended to the entire system.
The interface also provides a more responsive experience, and it is in gaming where strides have also been made for better performance, with the introduction of the GPU Turbo 3.0.
2019 had everything to be the year in which Huawei would assert itself as the number one manufacturer in the mobile market. This did not happen, because it became involved in suspicions regarding security, resulting in its banishment by the United States.
This meant that their most recent tops reached the global market in a very small way, and without Google services. Still, betting everything on China, the company ended up seeing an 18% increase in revenues compared to the previous year.
