After the Huawei P9 crash and the cancellation of the Android Oreo upgrade, we have good news for the owners of Huawei P10 Lite and Mate 10 Lite. Both devices have passed the beta phase of the system and are slowly starting to reach users around the world.
The update has already started reaching users in Asia and some users in Germany. This usually means that the update should reach everyone in a matter of days.

Not much you can do but wait. Theoretically you can always install a VPN and say you are browsing through Germany and speeding up the process, but it is not guaranteed to work.
This kind of "tactic" works on OnePlus 6 for example. Canada is one of the countries receiving early updates, so we have a clue that on certain devices this little trick works.
Huawei P10 Lite and Mate 10 Lite are receiving the update in Germany
Android Oreo on Huawei P10 Lite and Mate 10 will not change much in User Interface. You'll have the new EMUI 8, it's true, yet the design ideology remains pretty much the same.
EMUI brings more capable Artificial Intelligence to the smartphone. In theory the equipment will learn over time which applications you use the most and will give you boost equipment when needed. It will also lower the autonomy consumption when you are not using it.
It will also be added to "recycling". If you delete any photos without intent, you will have up to 30 days to redeem them before it is permanently deleted from your device.
The new Android Oreo update will also allow you to connect two bluetooth devices at the same time. Perfect for those who have a trackband and also want to connect the smartphone to the car.
As I mentioned the update should be coming officially to all Huawei P10 Lite and Mate 10 Lite users so don't despair. It is a matter of days.
