After rumors and information leaks, behold the Huawei P Smart Z is finally an official product. Despite the fact that it is more of a mid-range, it assumes greater relevance as it is Huawei's first device with a popup camera.
In this way, the Chinese giant takes the step towards a new approach to the front cameras. It is the first step towards a future where your smartphone screens will have no interruption to host this component.
Indeed, this new pop-up mechanism incorporates a 16MP lens with a f / 2.0 focal aperture. Since we are talking about cameras, I mention right now that at the back of the Huawei P Smart Z is a dual camera with 16MP f / 1.8 and one 2MP lens for depth measurements.
Huawei P Smart Z reminds us of the Google Pixel with its rear design
The Chinese opted for an approach that quickly brings to mind the Google Pixel. In fact, the back of this Huawei P Smart Z has two shades, just like Google smartphones. Here we have no change in material or texture. Simply a slight color change to give us that effect that won't go unnoticed.
Now meeting the specifications of the Huawei P Smart Z, it comes with a 6.6 inch LCD screen and Full-HD + resolution. Additionally, we have the Kirin 710F processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
Also note the presence of a 4000mAh battery. At software level, we will have Android Pie 9 masked by the usual EMUI 9.0, as is typical of all Huawei smartphones.
Last but not least, the Huawei P Smart Z goes on sale in Spain and Italy for 279 €. A very interesting value for what the equipment offers us. It only remains to know if and when other European markets will have the same right.
