GPU Turbo, the latest technology from China's largest mobile device maker that promises to revolutionize performance on graphically demanding tasks is beginning to reach more and more mobile devices. The next will be the Huawei MediaPad M5 tablet.
Indeed, by upgrading the operating system (firmware), the latest tablet from the company will receive this added value. I remember that GPU Turbo technology promises to increase performance on graphically demanding tasks. At the same time, it also promises to increase energy efficiency.

In other words, GPU Turbo will let you play more quality while consuming less power. This way, battery life won't be so "sacrificed" in demanding games like PUBG Mobile, by way of example.
The announcement that the Huawei MediaPad M5 tablet would be updated with GPU Turbo technology was made through the Chinese social network, Weibo. Then, the manufacturer itself assured his followers that this tablet will receive a serious performance boost.
Huawei MediaPad M5 will receive GPU Turbo technology
More specifically, the system upgrade that will bring GPU Turbo technology will arrive from July. Note also that the exact timing was not revealed. We only know that starting this month it will start to be distributed, probably first in China. However, given that this is the latest tablet of the brand, it is almost certain that the European version will also receive this same update. It is not really a question of if but when it will arrive.
The tablet itself was unveiled in April 2018 and is available in a total of three consumer versions. In terms of sizes we have a version with 8.4 inches screen and a version with 10.8 inches diagonal.
What's more, we also have the M5 Pro version. Note that all three versions feature HiSilicon's Kirin 960 processor, the former flagship of the Chinese manufacturer.
We can even find 4GB of RAM as well as 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Now all three versions will have a great, catchy asset for those who like to play on their Android tablet.
As soon as this update starts shipping it will naturally be the first to know. On a final note, this same update has already started to be distributed by the top smartphone range, the Huawei P20.
