Huawei is preparing to launch at the Mobile World Congress, at the end of February, new versions of its portable computers – the MateBook 13 2020 and MateBook 14 2020.
Before this official launch, Huawei already listed both models on its online store in China, revealing their design and specifications. The images reveal devices with very low margins, and that follow the design line that Huawei has already accustomed us to.
Both models will have a 2K resolution screen
In terms of specifications, both models have a 2K resolution screen, and 90% of that screen is used in the larger model. The difference is only in size, since they are 13 and 14 inches.
In the case of the smaller model, the margins are only 4.4 millimeters. This will be available in two processor variants – Intel Core i5-10210U and i7-10510U, with the Nvidia MX250 graphics. This model will arrive with variants of 8GB and 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD.
Fingerprint sensor, 2 USB-C ports and headphone jack are also something you can count on. It will have a weight of 1.32kg, thickness of 14.9mm and a battery of 41.7Wh with fast charging of 65W.
MateBook 14 will have more connectivity options
The 14-inch model maintains all processing options, graphics, RAM and storage for the smaller model. Huawei seems to want this to be the preferred model, since it also included a USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0 port. In addition, it will also have an HDMI port, a USB-C port and an audio input.
The battery makes the jump to 56Wh, with the charging also being encrypted at 65W. In terms of ergonomics, you can expect a weight of 1.53kg and a thickness of 15.9mm. Prices must start at 779 euros.
