Huawei is preparing to unveil to the public a revamped version of its first folding smartphone. The Mate Xs will be officially announced in March, and promises to correct the flaws of the first model.
Apparently, Mate Xs will be easier to manufacture. Rumor has it that the device should also sell for a lower price than the original model. It is recalled that it hit the market for about 2200 euros.

One would not expect anything else: the new Mate Xs will come equipped with Huawei’s latest high-end processor, the Kirin 990. The screen will also be improved, as will its folding mechanism, according to MyDrivers.
Huawei Mate X has sold 200,000 units
The original Mate X has sold, according to the latest news, more than 200,000 units. These numbers are not bad at all if we think it is a niche product and has been quite restricted. Still, we expected to see it being thoroughly tested by Western consumers.
Samsung has been slow to do so, but it is good to boast the courage to make Galaxy Fold available to any consumer who is willing to proceed with their purchase. Hopefully Huawei will do it on this model.
