The new Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be unveiled next Thursday (September 19), but leaks continue to surge in strength. The latest real images confirm the colors of the new high-end, confirming a unique hue like never before.
In addition to the four colors featuring a metallic hue that will surely win fans of the brand, the emerald green color seems to reveal a small detail that could make this design unique. From what we can see in the picture, it looks like the Huawei Mate 30 Pro back panel comes in two distinct finishes.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a unique back panel that will 'win hearts'
Usually, manufacturers choose two strategies for the rear design of their smartphones. Either they opt for a matt finish, or the application of a particular reflective pattern. In the case of Mate 30 Pro, it seems that the brand could not be decided, and eventually applied both.
In all variants, we see that there is a reflective pattern applied around the circular photographic module. But at least in the green option, it looks like the bottom half has a matte finish, while the top half has a reflective pattern. Unfortunately, in the image in which all variants are present, it is not possible to confirm this peculiar design in the other colors.
Still, another image that presents us with the purple variant, this double finish does not appear to be present, only a reflective finish is applied to the entire surface of its rear panel. It seems that we will really have to wait until next Thursday to have these doubts finally answered.
Cascade screen will have touch-sensitive virtual buttons
Another information leak shows a screen shot of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro where the user is controlling the volume level by pressing the side of the OLED panel.
It has been confirmed in several situations that the Mate 30 Pro will arrive equipped with a "waterfall screen". That is, your OLED panel will feature side edges with a curvature close to 90 °, allowing it to extend to the sides of the smartphone.
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to know if the manufacturer will really take this opportunity to implement several other uses.
Finally, another picture introduces us to the Huawei Mate 30 side by side with the Mate 30 Pro, clearly demonstrating the huge difference this type of display will bring in terms of visual impact.
As we can see in the image, the Mate 30 will have greatly reduced margins. However, the lack of side margins on the Mate 30 Pro makes the smartphone look much more "appealing" and the user experience will be guaranteed to be more engaging.
