Huawei today unveiled the Huawei Mate 30 during its event in Germany. The phone is part of the brand's new family of phones, along with the Mate 30 Pro, which features new processor, new display and cameras.
Looks like the Mate 30 line will come even without Google services
During the presentation, Huawei focused on everything but the most sensitive subject: Google services. EMUI 10 and its new functions such as intelligent rotation and aerial gestures were spoken but the most eminent question was not answered.
Google services that Huawei Mate 30 Pro will not count on
Huawei Mate 30 Specifications
As the 'little brother' of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the Mate 30 will come with more modest features. However, the processor will stay the same, as well as mind-blowing charging speeds, especially wireless at 27W.
- 6.62 inch AMOLED Full HD + display
- Kirin 990 ready for 5G
- 8 GB / 256 GB
- Rear camera: 40 MP (main sensor) + 16 MP (ultra-wide angle) + 8MP (telephoto)
- Front camera: 32 MP
- 4200mAh Battery with 40W Wired Charging, 27W Wireless
- Reverse charge
- IP53 resistance
In the photographic department, the Mate 30 brings laser focus and 3X optical zoom, with 30X digital zoom. In addition, we have the presence of the ultra-wide lens and also the telephoto lens for approach photography.
The notch on the front of the device stores the 32 MP front camera as well as the security sensors for 3D face unlocking, similar to the Mate 20 Pro.
Huawei Mate 30 Prices and Availability
The Huawei Mate 30 will come in 4 different colors: White, Green, Purple and Black. The phone will have a value of 799 euros. However, Huawei has not reported availability anywhere. The obvious justification is that Huawei is still unsure what to do about Google's situation with Android.
