In 2016, the world's 3rd largest smartphone maker surprised the world when it introduced its flagship Android, the Huawei P9 with a dual camera at the rear in partnership with Leica. Now for 2018 we will have a Huawei Mate 20 / Mate 20 Pro with … a total of 4 cameras?
In fact, no. For all of the reasons discussed earlier in EBox, the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will come with a triple camera. This in the face of the resounding success of the current P20 Pro in Europe and several other world markets.

However, we can always dream and imagine what a Huawei Mate 20 would look like. Now with a total of 4 cameras (photographic sensors and their lenses) on its back. The video illustrating this article is by the channel Concept Creator and show us an approach to the next high end of the Chinese manufacturer.
It is important to emphasize that this is a conceptual video. It's a (beautiful) fruit of the imagination, skill and creativity of the designers responsible for the YouTube channel. Having said that, we can effectively contemplate a beautiful approach to the Huawei Mate 20.
Huawei Mate 20 arrives in October 2018
Note that the Huawei Mate 20 generation is still long months away and is due to be introduced in October 2018. That said, I would point out that the video is not based on information leaks or rumors. It is purely a conceptual approach to the next phablet Huawei's Android, now with a total of 4 cameras at your back. It would undoubtedly be a rather peculiar sight for the mobile market and for the whole Android "world". It would also be an effective way to set yourself apart from any competition.
A concept a little … exaggerated?
Of this we have no doubt, although its strange aspect eventually arouses our attention. Still, I remember that even with 3 cameras the Huawei P20 Pro far surpassed the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus in DxOMark tests.
That said, we no longer feel that there is any need to further increase the photographic sensor count at the rear. On the other hand, we believe that the designer was right when referring to the under-screen fingerprint reader.
At the moment the only certainty we have is that it is too early to be certain. Whatever it is! On the other hand, it is normal that Huawei is already fully dedicated to the development of its Huawei Mate 20. The reasons for this have already been reported here on EBox.
What is certain is that the Huawei Mate 20 will be equipped with HiSilicon's Kirin 980 processor, which will have registered more than 350 thousand points in AnTuTu. It will also bring several improvements with regard to Artificial Intelligence.
We will follow the development of the news around this terminal and the brand designs here at EBox.
