It appears that Huawei's next smartphone will be called Huawei Mate 20. The Chinese company's phablet is expected to arrive to replace the Mate 10 that was unveiled last year.
Like the "P" range, Mate will also jump number 11 to 20. If so far these conclusions were but speculation, they now look almost official.

Huawei has just registered the name Mate 20 in the European Union and has gone a little further. In fact the brand has registered the name "Mate" until the Mate 90. Which gives us indication that the range should be planned for constant releases by 2025.
By 2025 a lot will change. Man will be closer to Mars, UK will be financially well (cof cof) and smartphones should be totally different from what we have today.
Huawei Mate 20 to be unveiled in September
In 7 years, Huawei may even have changed its mind about its Mate range. However, nothing forbids them to look to the future with objectivity.
The Huawei Mate 20 will be made official this September. We have no idea if the Asian company will take the IFA stage in Berlin to do so or would prefer to anticipate its high end just as Samsung did with the Note range.
So far the rumors of the Mate 20 are not many. It is believed that the terminal will arrive with smaller margins, an on-screen biometric sensor and the same rear camera set that the P20 Pro offers.
The smartphone will be a high end and the values will be high. This is almost certain. Huawei is well on its way to its tops. Let's just hope that you do not devalue your terminals as you have in recent years.
