It looks like we are facing a new trend this late 2018. And no, I'm not referring to screens with a 'hole' for the front camera. It looks like the Honor View 20 will also come with a special edition linked to a 'super car' manufacturer.
This kind of partnership between smartphone makers and car makers is not exactly new. However, during this year, we have seen this kind of special editions launch much more often.

We recently saw the Huawei Mate 20 Pro Porsche Design arrive as a result of the second year of partnership between the two manufacturers. We also had the partnership between Oppo and Lamborghini, which led to a special edition of Oppo Find X.

More recently, we saw OnePlus present a special edition of its current flagship product as a result of the partnership with McLaren and also rumors of a possible partnership between Lenovo and Ferrari that could bring us the first smartphone with 12GB of RAM.
Now, new information is raising the possibility of another partnership between a smartphone maker and a 'super car' maker. Much has been said about the new Huawei Honor View 20 over the last few weeks. Much of the rumors and leaks report a small 'hole' on the screen and a rear camera with a 48 megapixel sensor.
On the other hand, new rumors point to the existence of Honor View 20 Maserati Edition. Information about this special edition is literally nonexistent, with only two images published on the Weibo social network.
Since the images reveal little, and there is no additional information to corroborate this possibility. The information should be absorbed with a 'pinch of salt'. Still, it would not be totally unseemly to see Honor also having such a partnership.
