At a time when Huawei remains banned from upgrading its smartphones to the new Android 11, it has become more important than ever to update its EMUI interface. Thus, the only way that the various smartphones of the brand can receive considerable improvements and new features is through EMUI 11.
Especially since they are no longer able to use Google’s services and applications, Huawei has been forced to develop its own alternatives. Despite having faced numerous difficulties at an early stage, their offers are increasingly interesting, although they are unable to stand up to Google.
Now, the manufacturer has confirmed the arrival of EMUI 11 to another 14 smartphones. Without revealing specific dates, they only informed that the launch will happen in two phases: December and until March 2021.

Despite continuing to be based on Android 10, EMUI 11 brings numerous improvements and new features to Huawei smartphones, such as:
- Artistic Always-on-display (AoD)
- Improvements in the multi-tasking tool
- Multi-screen collaboration
- More natural and smoother animations
- Subtitles based on artificial intelligence
- Security and permission control improvements
Considering the sharp drops in Huawei’s smartphone sales figures in Europe during 2020, it is really important that the brand manages to considerably improve the speed with which it brings new updates to its smartphones.
For now, leaving most of its users waiting until March 2021, it doesn’t seem like a good start.
