HTC Wildfire E2 is now on sale for less than € 100! HTC no longer even cares about presentations

HTC is far from its golden age, showing extremely negative results in the smartphone segment for many years. The manufacturer no longer even tries to make a difference in the mid-high and high-end segments, focusing only on the more modest market segments.

Furthermore, it seems that they no longer even bother to invest in the presentation of smartphones, as the HTC Wildfire E2 is already on sale in Russia, even before it was officially presented. This is another smartphone that has little to offer, costing just under € 100.

HTC Wildfire E2

HTC Wildfire E2 specifications

  • 6.22 “inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution and drop-shaped notch
  • MediaTek Helio P22 processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD card)
  • Dual rear camera: 16MP + 2MP (depth)
  • 8 megapixel front camera
  • Rear fingerprint reader
  • 4,000mAh battery (USB-C)
  • Android 10

As you can see in the list of specifications above, the HTC Wildfire E2 does not have much to offer, having a very complicated life when paired with Xiaomi’s offerings in this same market segment. Even though they are modest smartphones, options like the Redmi 9C or Redmi 9 will certainly be much better investments.

Still, we have some positive points that are important to highlight, such as its main sensor of 16 megapixels and the fact that its battery is charged via USB-C cable. Although USB-C has already been established as a standard in most segments, entry-level smartphones often continue to arrive with support for microUSB.
