Google is about to reveal a new smartphone. Google Pixel 5 has been talked about for a long time and the information has revealed concrete details.
We have an idea that we will have a top of the range, however, that will not arrive with the latest Qualcomm processor. That is, when it comes to power, it will have a fantastic performance but lower than smartphones launched in mid-2020 with the new Qualcomm chip.
Here’s the prototype of the Google Pixel 5, Google’s next flagship smartphone
This image shows us an alleged Google and Google Pixel 5 prototype. We can see that the smartphone has Google traces and that it even matches some information leaks.
However, we cannot help looking at this smartphone with sadness. This is because it is a far cry from what other tops are doing right now.
After seeing an elegant Galaxy S20 or even the rumors of the new iPhone 12, this Google Pixel 5 is inspired by the first model of the Pixel with two different building materials at the rear.
The bottom appears to be made of glass, which would allow wireless charging. The upper part is made of metal (or dull glass). In addition, we have the biometric sensor on the rear and not on the screen.
Google is failing to design smartphones
This is not a bad smartphone if it were an intermediate device. However, it is expected to be Google’s “flagship” next year. That is, when compared to other devices on the market, this alleged Google Pixel 5 is far from captivating.
In fact, even compared to other intermediaries. The OnePlus Nord and (any other) Xiaomi smartphone have a more avant-garde design than this device from Google.
We hope to be wrong and that this is a prototype that never went beyond that.
