Honor may not be experiencing the best of its phases, but that does not mean that it is stuck in time. The Honor 30 will be their next tops of the range and there is already information about their possible date of presentation.
According to leaker Fears, the Honor 30 will be presented in April this year. If confirmed, this announcement will arrive approximately one month after the presentation of the Huawei P40.
The source did not provide any further details, so we still don’t quite know what to expect from this smartphone. If the past serves as an example, the Honor 30 will be accompanied by a Pro and a Lite version.
Both the Honor 30 and the Honor 30 Pro will be the company’s flagship, while the Lite model will be aimed at the intermediate market. This has been the company’s strategy and we have no reason to believe that this year will be any different.
Honor 30 will be a more economical alternative to the Huawei P40
Honor equipment usually excels for its quality / price ratio. That is, the Honor 30 and 30 Pro should arrive with the Kirin 990 processor, the same that will equip the Huawei P40.
In fact, these two ranges will share a large part of their specifications. However, Honor models will be much cheaper than P40s, which will make them very desirable.
A new tablet will also be on the way
In another tweet, the same Teme says that a new Honor MagicPad tablet will be on the way. Indeed, it is not surprising that this device is presented at the same event.
Here the same principle applies to your smartphones. This MagicPad could be seen as an alternative to MatePad Pro launched by Huawei.
Honor has been affected by Huawei’s problems with the US
Honor being a sub-brand of Huawei, all limitations that the latter faces apply to you. This means that the Honor 30 will be launched without Google services, making your European success more difficult.
In this case, the big beneficiary will be Xiaomi, as it is the one that manages to present us with a similar quality / price ratio. Especially because they already have official stores in UK.
