HMD Global has revealed that it will hold its next Nokia event on March 19 in London. The revelation was made by the usual Juho Sarvikas through his Twitter account. This event had to be organized after MWC 2020 was canceled thanks to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Although this event promises to bring several news regarding the brand bets for the mobile segment, it will not be the stage for the presentation of the awaited Nokia 9.2 PureView.

Partnership between Nokia and James Bond could be a reality for the next smartphones
Although it was not confirmed by Sarvikas, the short video he posted on Twitter does not seem to leave much doubt. As you can see in the publication below, the animation used by HDM Global is identical to the introduction of all the classics in the James Bond saga.
Therefore, it is possible that we will see results of an interesting partnership. Although they have not yet launched a smartphone together, Nokia / HMD Global’s fascination with legendary films has already been proven. I recall that the controversial Lumia McLaren had the code name Goldfinger and the “mythical” smartwatch had the internal name Moonraker.
What to expect from the next Nokia event
Although the presentation of its next top of the range – Nokia 9.2 PureView – is expected only in the second half of the year, this event can reserve some very pleasant surprises.
According to the recognized leaker Evan Blass, Nokia 5.2 is expected to be introduced, which is expected to come with four rear cameras, fingerprint reader on the rear panel, drop-shaped screen with notch, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
In addition, there is talk of the presentation of the Nokia 5G and also of a new Android Go smartphone, which should present extremely modest specifications.
We are sure that more information about this event will emerge over the next few days. Until March 19th, we will certainly receive a lot of information about the surprises reserved by HMD Global and Nokia.
