When we buy any smartphone, we like it to be updated as long as possible. We know that upgrades to new versions of Android are dependent on the builders and their willingness to support their equipment. Fortunately, HMD Global, with Nokia, is one of the most interested in the subject and is already thinking of the arrival of Android P.
Nokia has entered the market again this year and has made the dent we all expected. Although still without the weight in the market of yore, the fact that the work being done by the Finnish company has been making all its fans happy.

We now know that all Nokia smartphones on the market will receive Android Oreo by the end of 2017. This calendar has been guaranteed by the brand itself, something we cannot equally say about other major brands, and with higher status, in the Marketplace.
Even though Android Oreo has not yet been made available for all the devices it covers, the company is already thinking about the future. At an event held in the Philippines, HMD has already confirmed the arrival of the future Android P to all Nokia we have on the market today.
Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8 will be updated by HMD Global for the future Android P
In fact, Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8 will be entitled to at least one more year of updates to their operating system level. Certainly the future smartphones that HMD has yet to present to us should also be covered with Android P.
Obviously, for the time being, the Finnish company cannot yet disclose a precise timetable for this important milestone for its users. The only thing that was, and could be advanced, is that this will happen shortly after Google releases the version of its operating system here, something that should happen in the second half of next year.
At a time when we are not even talking about the possible news for Android P, it is commendable that a brand affirms, right now, its willingness to bring it to their equipment.
