Halo 4 comes to Windows
Xbox 360 users and Halo fans will remember that 2012 was when Halo 4 was launched, one of the last installments of the saga and where the story began after the events that occurred in Halo 3, with the Master Chief and Cortana thrown to space.
Well, now we have learned from the hand of 343 Industries and after a new trailer that Halo 4 is finally here to Windows PCs next November 17 and in two different ways. On the one hand, as an individual title, an option that, like the rest of the titles that have previously also been released for PC. On the other, through the Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
That is, if at the time you bought or now buy this collection, Halo 4 will come as additional content or update (no matter what you call it) without having to pay an extra euro again. So if you have never played any Halo or want to enjoy all of them again in remastered versions and with improvements such as 4K resolution graphics or the option of being able to play at 60 fps, it is the best option.
Obviously, they are not the only novelties, another that is also very interesting is being able to play on screens with an ultra-panoramic format and adjusting the field of vision to suit the player.
Regarding the game, Halo 4 for PC will offer each and every one of the modes that we already saw in the console version. That is, the campaign mode, the multiplayer mode and even the Spartan Ops mode will be present where in a cooperative mode you can play missions designed to do it together with the company of other players.
Waiting for Halo Infinite
The arrival of Halo 4 on PC closes all the content that Halo: The Master Chief Collection promised to offer until the arrival of the new Halo Infinite. Thus, each and every one of the titles that you can find in this edition are:
- Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
- Halo 2: Anniversary
- Halo 3
- Halo 3: ODST
- Halo: Reach
- Halo 4
For the rest, this collection will again have an optimized version for the new Microsoft consoles, both the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S, completely free. So if you liked the saga or at some point you were interested in playing it, but you didn’t, now is the ideal time.
So you can calm a little the goose of receiving Halo Infinite, the new delivery that we already knew long ago that it would be delayed in principle until August 2021. Therefore, we cannot think of a better plan for, mainly, these last months of the year where It seems that again we will be spending much more time at home.
