Grand Theft Auto V continues to arouse passions and, for those who have never joined its online mode, a lot of nostalgia. The title was released in 2013, and has several iconic scenes. One of them has now come to life, being recreated by the actors themselves on the YouTube channel PlayStation Haven.
It is one of the most iconic scenes between the characters Franklin (one of the protagonists of the game) and Lamar. The actors, respectively Shawn Fonteno and Gerald Johnson, recreate the opening scene where both interact in the first moments of the game.
The iconic “yee yee ass haircut” is recreated here, when Lamar makes fun of Frnaklin’s hair. This is one of the biggest memes among the GTA community, and there are several satires online at the moment.
As CNET notes, a video from the ItzBarcode channel shows Franklin being laughed at by “literally everyone”. The video features characters like Vegeta, Super Mario, Snow White or Darth Vader in place of Lamar.
It is recalled that GTA V was launched, for the first time, in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Later it would arrive on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and versions for the new generation consoles are planned.
At a time when many fans were already waiting for the announcement of GTA 6, versions for PS5 and XBxon Series X and S were announced, with a strong focus on online. This has been the title’s great way of survival, which puts it very much alive, with more than 120 million units sold worldwide.
