Gran Turismo Sport is launched on October 18

You have to go back to 2013 and Playstation 3 to find the latest release of the Gran Turismo franchise. Now in the new generation, Gran Turismo Sport finally hits the market on October 18. The graphics are top notch, there's virtual reality capability, but the car list leaves a little to be desired.

Four years have passed since Gran Turismo 6. More than 1000 cars were in this version of the game. Now we'll have 170. But we'll talk about that later. First the good stuff.

Gran Turismo Sport is an exclusive Playstation 4

As always, this is an exclusive Playstation. That is, only if you have a Playstation 4 will you be able to play. Plus: if you have a PS4 Pro and a 4K screen, you can play at 60FPS at that resolution. If you have an HDR-compatible television you will also notice differences.

You can play in three modes: Sport, Campaign and Arcadian.

Sport: In this mode you are challenged to make the fastest laps that will be compared to those of other real players. Focused online, your times will determine the race position against other players.

Campaign: Here you will have quests and goals that will become increasingly difficult and always rewarded. Rewards range from cars, experience points and credits (the currency of the game).

Arcadian: This is the way you take a car and simply run alone or with friends.

And the gameplay? Well, it's a matter of taste. There are those who think it is the best and most realistic and some who find it limited and prefer other games of the competition. I am the one you like. I always liked that physics and the faithful way cars are represented. Although I think the level of sound the game is a little bit sin and has a lot to improve.

In addition to the top graphics, you can play Gran Turismo Sport with Sony VR Glasses

When it comes to graphics, or not the first in this console generation, it's the best ever. And now you can play with Sony VR glasses. And there's a big news: for the first time Porsche is available in the game, as are classic brands like Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz or BMW.

However, after more than 1000 cars in Gran Turismo 6, we now have only 170. It is manifestly little. Here you can see the full list. As a great additive, prepare to be guided throughout the game by Lewis Hamilton.

What do you think about this exclusive PS4 release? Have you played the demo yet? Looking forward to the 18th? Tell us in the comments.
