Google Stadia continues to grow after launching later this year as the first service cloud gaming. Among the various subscription options to the service, you can choose Stadia Pro, which in addition to platform access gives you access to some “free” titles.
However, the company’s offer to date has left players disappointed. In January, two new games will arrive and among them will be the popular Rise of the Tomb Raider. But, it’s important to note that they decided to remove Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on December 31st.
So if you want access to the full story of Lara Croft, you will need to subscribe to Google Stadia Pro later this year so you can claim access to the game before it is removed.
In addition to Rise of the Tomb Raider, Google will also include Thumper in its service. In total, players who subscribe to Stadia Pro will have access to 5 games, but the offer still doesn’t captivate players.
Google still fails to offer a game essential to any “library”
In virtually every category, there are some games that are essential for any library, especially if you’re a fan of the category. It would be expected that at the start of its new service, Google could offer such titles, but it did not.
So far, the company has not been able to guarantee the presence of any major game in the Google Stadia Pro catalog. Perhaps that is why they have not yet reached the number of subscribers to its “Pro” plan that would be desired. Although it is a very interesting service, it is important to remember that new games will have to be bought and the price is equivalent to or even higher than consoles.
That’s why many users continue to prefer the free Google Stadia subscription plan.
