The management section of applications installed on the smartphone will receive great news, both with regard to its interface and available features. The new look in this section will give users an overview of all installed applications, available space on the device and also the number of updates available.
Managing Apps on your Android has never been easier!
When you access the “management” tab, you will be presented with the complete list of applications and games installed on the smartphone, which now features several tools to make the whole process considerably easier. With the small buttons at the top you can filter and select specific Apps.
For example, you will be able to have access not only to the list of installed applications, but also to the history of Apps that you have already installed on your current smartphone, or another previous one where you were logged in with your Google account. You can also select to display only Apps that have an update available. Finally, with the 3rd button you can choose to display only games on the list.
When you select one or more applications, you will see a floating window with several available actions and also an indication of the total space occupied on the smartphone. Among the various options, you will find the option to update, uninstall, share and also “rating” if only one App is selected.
Google will finally implement sharing functionality on the Google Play Store
Android users have long asked for a feature to be implemented to directly share applications between different smartphones. After a long wait, it seems that Google is finally ready to implement this functionality.
The new option “share” when the floating window is opened says that it is possible to share applications directly with friends. This new feature will take advantage of the smartphone’s location and will be able to search for nearby devices. Obviously, the recipient of the shared application will need to have this feature enabled for your smartphone to be found.
There is still no information on possible release dates for these new features for all users, but it seems certain that this new feature will turn out to be very popular with millions of Android smartphone users.
