The update that is already reaching some users follows the last update, released on November 11th, bringing with it minor improvements and signaling the introduction of a new Notification tab / section that we already know about EBox.
This notification tab will be present in the Google Play Store, just below "My Apps & Games" but is currently still being tested by the tech giant and is not available to all users.
Turning your attention to what's new in version 8.4.40 whose APK is now available for download, you won't even notice that the Google Play Store store itself automatically updates your App, usually without realizing it unless you go to Settings – Apps – Google Play Store and then check the number, version of this App.
At the moment I couldn't notice any visual changes after downloading and installing this new APK from the official Android store on my smartphone, the "outdated" and discontinued OnePlus 5.

Finally, this update will surely come to your device but it may take up to a week or so before it happens. If you prefer, you can download this new version, or better from its installation package, APK. The facility is totally safe.
And you, could you find any difference, either visually or functionally from this official Android store? Leave us your feedback below in the comments section.
