There is still a long way to go before the official presentation of the Google Pixel 5, but rumors are already starting to emerge. What comes to our attention today concerns the first rendering of the upcoming Pixel 5 XL.
The computer images were released by Jon Prosser of the channel Front Page Tech. He is very confident that this is really one of the prototypes that Google has on the table for the Pixel 5 XL.
The camera module we see here is considerably larger than the one found on the Pixel 4 XL and even more controversial. It is impossible not to compare this arrangement of lenses with an emoji.

Google Pixel 5 XL can finally bring a wide-angle lens
The published render shows us that the Pixel 5 XL will come with three lenses at the rear. According to sources from Jon Prosser, the new addition will be a wide-angle lens.
Although the image does not include it, Prosser says that the front of the Pixel 5 XL will be similar to that of the Pixel 4. In other words, we will continue to have a higher margin, although a little more reduced.
It should be noted that the image released concerns only one of the prototypes of the Pixel 5 XL and not the smaller model. Apparently, Google will have three proposals on the table, and the other two include a square module, similar to the Pixel 4.
Google Pixel 5 will only be presented in October
It is important to note that the new Pixel 5 will only be revealed in mid-October. This means that there are still many months to reveal and that it is premature to draw definitive conclusions.
As I mentioned, this is just one of the prototypes on the table for Google’s next smartphone. Hopefully the North American company will launch something more appealing, although the Pixel has never won any prize for the smartphone with the best design on the market.
