During the weekend, the first real images of the Google Pixel 4a appeared. It is now known that these were taken from a video hands-on to the smartphone and we can already see it in full.
The video is from the Cuban channel TecnoLike Plus and it is narrated in Spanish, so it will not be difficult to understand what is said. Clearly this video was shared ahead of time and someone may be left on more sheets because of you.
Google Pixel 4a will bring the design everyone expected
Fortunately for us, it is thanks to this early sharing that we learn all about the next smartphone from Google. The American company has never been good at keeping its equipment secret and this Pixel 4a is no exception.
This video hands-on confirms the presence of a screen with a “hole” in the upper left for the front camera. This approach has enabled Google to design a virtually borderless display and that will certainly appeal to consumers.
At the rear, we have the fingerprint sensor in the center, as in the Pixel 3a, and a square module for the camera, like the Pixel 4. However, this Pixel 4a will come with only one lens.
Google Pixel 4a specifications
- 5.81-inch Full-HD + display
- 60Hz refresh rate
- Snapdragon 730 processor
- Adreno 618
- 6GB RAM
- 64GB of internal memory
- 12MP rear camera with support for 4K video recording
- 8MP front camera
- 3080mAh battery
All of this data can be seen around minute two of the video. The specifications of the model in question are revealed thanks to the AIDA64 program, which aims precisely to make known the hardware of any smartphone.
Since the Google Pixel 4a is a mid-range, it is not surprising that the choice fell on a Snapdragon 730. This allows Google to lower the price of the smartphone, compared to the tops of the range, but without neglecting its performance too much.
It is also not surprising that your screen has a refresh rate of just 60Hz. Likewise, the presence of a lens on its rear makes sense, and if the PIxel 3a is an example, the results will be quite interesting.
This Pixel 4a was expected to be presented in May, within the scope of Google I / O 2020. Since the technology canceled the event due to the Coronavirus, we still do not know when and how this smartphone will be presented.
