Through leaker Mukul Sharma, the first real images of Google Pixel 4 appeared in daylight. Sharma shared the somewhat blurry images in her twitter page.
Despite the quality of the images, it is easy to distinguish the most talked about feature in all the rumors: the double hole in the screen. Google Pixel 4 will then have two camera sensors in the upper right corner of the screen. This trend was initiated by the Samsung Galaxy S10 + which also features the double hole.
In addition, these images show us a Google Pixel 4 with dual rear camera. Sharma already has a longstanding reputation for correct information leaks. In addition, the images go against rumors spoken so far.
What to expect from Google Pixel 4
For now, not many Pixel 4 specifications have been advanced. Here's what we know so far:
- Android Q
- 6GB of RAM
- Snapdragon 855
Since the Snapdragon 855 processor supports 5G, Google may decide to release a 5G Pixel. With the amount of 5G-enabled smartphones coming out this year, that would be a good bet.
We also know that in addition to the normal Pixel 4, there will be a larger screen XL version. However the biggest curiosity is in their cameras. Its predecessor, Google Pixel 3, had its camera considered the best of 2018 in mobile phones. DxOMark assigns Pixel 3 a score of 101.
The Google Pixel 4 is expected to be able to repeat the feat this year. However, competition is strong. Huawei P30 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10 + and Oppo Reno are strong candidates for best camera of the year.
