If there's one thing I love about Android smartphones versus iPhone, it's the way Google handles SPAM calls. The ones who call you to sell everything and anything. The Google Phone Beta App is now available to all users with an Android device.
The new application update, which is still in Beta, wants to go further by detecting a SPAM call. At this moment when you receive the call you are notified that on the other side there are likely to be people intending to take you 10 minutes out of the day without much ground for it.

With the new Google Phone Beta version the call doesn't even reach your device. Upon detecting that this number is part of such an entity the call is immediately sent to voicemail (mailbox).
You will have Voicemail access to hear the call and information will still be recorded on missed calls, but your device will simply not ring.
You can now register to download the Google Phone Beta app.
This measure is gold for people who have been slowly giving the phone number to companies that decide to share their data. Google Phone Beta won't be as good in UK as it is in the United States or the United Kingdom, for example, but it's still one of the best apps you can have on your Android.
If you already have a device with Android Stock, Google Pixel, or Android One, you don't need to install anything. However, you can still sign up to be a Beta Tester HERE on the Google website.
Hopefully the service will be more efficient in UK. Gradually we are getting better service. One thing is certain, the more people use the service, the better it will be. Hopefully Apple will learn how to create this technology more efficiently.
