Google Gboard gains more customization with update

Google Gboard is, for good reason, one of the most popular applications in the world. Google’s keyboard is simple, functional and full of features that make it unique.

The new update gives the keyboard a little more customization by adapting to the smartphone’s settings. That is, in the next update, Google Gboard will bring possibilities of “dark mode” and “light” depending on the smartphone’s settings.

How the new Google Gboard feature works

If you have, for example, the smartphone to activate Dark Mode (dark mode) after a certain time, the keyboard will change according to that parameter.

You can set the keyboard “white” when the system is clear and it will automatically switch to the keyboard “dark” when you have Dark Mode active.

When will the new feature arrive on your Gboard

Apparently, this feature is only present in some Beta users. That is, the update is via the server. To be more specific, you will not need to download anything to activate. However, it has not yet reached all users, even those who have the Beta version installed on the smartphone.

However, Google does not usually take long to bring the new features to all users. Thus, we can expect that Google (normal) Gboard will receive this news in the coming weeks.

In short, Google Gboard continues to bring relevant news to its users. Google has long given serious value to its free application, both for Android and for iOS, and it is now one of the best keyboards you can have installed on your smartphone.
