The Google Calendar app is the next Google app to bring Dark Mode. The "Dark Theme" is already starting to be common in Google applications, however, it is still one that offers no such possibility.
The Mountain View company is increasingly bringing Dark Mode to their Apps, and many of them have been offering the option for months. One of the things I like to use with Dark Mode is for example its messaging application.
What the Dark Mode is for in applications.
Dark Mode is more important than just a design change. With the background mostly black, the app will consume substantially less battery. That is, if your smartphone suffers from lack of autonomy, this is one of the best solutions you can activate.
Latest Google Calendar Design Changes Drop Out
I personally don't like the new Google Calendar design very much. It's been a year now since Google Calendar has changed its design and I have to admit I'm not the biggest fan of this new layout. The thought of highlighting the day's events rather than the days of the month confuses me as soon as I open the app. Having to click on the month to have the visibility of the list by month does not seem the most logical ideology. Still, the app has over 500 million downloads on the Google Play Store. That is, this new design may just be negative for me.
When will Dark Mode arrive on Google Calendar
According to the information, Google Calendar has received the code for Dark Mode in the "6.0.32.245216081" update, not yet available on the Google Play Store, but even with this version there is still no possibility to activate. Therefore, it is to be expected that one of the next updates will bring such functionality. I fully believe that next time. Once we look at the code in the App it's a matter of design. We will be keeping an eye on the development of the information and also hope that Google will give us more possibilities to change the application's User Interface.
