Google Assistant may even be one of the most advanced assistants ever, but it’s still not perfect. One of its problems is the pronunciation of names. There are people who have names or nicknames that are not exactly simple to pronounce.
Well, with the new Google Assistant update, which will be out soon for all Google devices, you’ll be able to teach the assistant how to pronounce a certain name.
Teaching Google Assistant to say the correct name will be simple
Everything will be done in the Assistant application. You only have to access one contact and you can record your voice to teach Google Assistant how to say the name correctly.
With the introduction of the Google Assistant in UK’s from UK, many of the complex names for the assistant (such as Guimarães) have been corrected. Still, there are people who still don’t have their name correctly mentioned.
Google Assistant is closer to helping all UK’s
As I mentioned, Google Assistant (or Google assistant) has already received the update for UK’s. However, this update is only available for smartphones.
If you have a Google Home or any other NEST gadget, you will have to continue speaking in another language to control your home automation.
That is certainly why UK’s homes are not smart anymore. In the United Kingdom, for example, it was beginning to be normal to see a Google Assistant or Alexa from Amazon at people’s homes, here in UK the story is still not the same. Hopefully, with the introduction of UK’s things will change.
