If, like me, you use Google Assistant on various devices around your home, you know it can be a vital help in many situations. And one of them is to create alarms using voice commands.
But imagine that you activated an alarm in your room, and you go to the kitchen and it rings. If until now you had to go to that division to disable it, that is no longer necessary with something new.
If you have at least one Nest Hub at home, you know that you just need to say “Stop” and the alarm ends. I confess that, in the morning, it is fantastic just to have to do this for the alarm to be quiet. But if you’re in another room, just say what alarm you want to stop
How to disable a Google Assistant alarm in another room
As discovered by Android Police, just say “Hey Google, stop the timer in the kitchen” (Hey Google, turn off the alarm in the kitchen). And you can do it regardless of the Google device you're using in another room.
As you can see from the video above, Android Police showed how the novelty works. However, you should keep in mind that this only works on your speakers or smart screens around the house.
Even with Google Assitant on your smartphone, it is not possible to turn off alarms on these smart devices as voice commands through them. Here at home the functionality is not yet active, but it will be a matter of days before it reaches everyone.
