Resident Evil 2 Remake: Get ready for the game demo!

Soon we will be able to play two new titles in the Final Fantasy VII franchise. There are two new free games on the way to the App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android, according to information advanced by Square Enix, the studio in charge.

They are Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier and Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis and although little else we know about the titles, the studio still revealed some important details about these free games for Android and iOS.

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier will be a battle royale

The first game announced by Square Enix during the February 25 State of Play was Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier as an action game. According to the company, it will be divided into chapters and offer players the possibility of an experience multiplayer able to cover the entire timeline of the Final Fantasy VII universe.

The format adopted is that of battle royale in which multiple players compete in the Midgar region, fighting for survival against participants from all over the world. The story of this game takes place before the events that give rise to the main title.

Also according to the studio, players will be able to use their skills and spells to fight with the rest of the players. The objective is simple, to fight, survive and defeat the other participants in each battle.

The new games will be free for Android and iOS

The first to reach the Google Play Store and App Store will be Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, probably still in 2021. The second title, Ever Crisis, will only arrive in 2020.

Anyone interested can download and play, without having to pay to win. On the other hand, we will have in-app purchases, probably with the skins and personalization packages to be present.

So far there are no specific dates for the respective launches, both of which are in production.
