Tesla Cybertruck's performance was marked by two unusual moments. The first moment was when Franz, one of Tesla's designers, knocked with a sledgehammer on Cybertruck's door with no visible effect.
The other moment was not so beautiful. Elon Musk told the designer to throw a steel ball at the car's glass and the glass just couldn't stand it. Obviously that was not the point.
Elon Musk refers to what went wrong in Tesla Cybertruck's glasses
Apparently, and like everything in life, everything has a logic. According to Elon Musk's tweet, the impact of the sledgehammer on the door eventually shattered some of the interior glass, which made it unable to withstand the impact of the steel ball.
It can be read in Elon's tweet "The impact of the sledgehammer on the door broke the base of the glass, which is why the steel ball did not bounce off. He should have made a steel ball in the window, and only then hammer in the door. Next time maybe…"
Elon Musk showed a video where we see the glass hold the steel ball
Before the blame was cleared, Elon Musk didn't rest until he showed that the Tesla Cybertruck can handle a steel ball in the glass. We can see in the video above where the car was still in the testing phase.
