The gigantic social network Facebook has just launched a new feature called 'Why I'm Watching This Post'. This function explains to users why certain content appears in your feed.
The function tries to explain how Facebook's algorithm chooses the content that people view. This is done by showing some of the criteria on which the algorithm was based to show the publication.
This includes factors such as user friendships, user interactions, and specific content. The popularity of publishing, integration into Facebook groups will also influence.
Maybe now we can understand the suggestions of certain content
This algorithm also identifies whether the user reacts more to a specific person's posts. If so, this person's posts will have priority in the feed.
Inside the 'Why am I seeing this?' you can change existing settings like 'View First', 'Don't Follow' and privacy shortcuts.
This may have to do with the effort Facebook is making to improve the privacy of its users. After so many scandals, Zuckerberg's company really needs a break.
