Disney's streaming service arrived last month and, despite being available in a small number of markets, managed to raise 10 million subscriptions in just 24 hours. Now, roughly a month after its launch, it continues to see impressive growth that will continue to threaten Netflix's dominance.
According to Apptopia's latest report, the Disney + app has already been installed on over 22 million smartphones / tablets. But most striking is that the app currently has about 9.5 million active users daily.
Disney + attacks Netflix on all fronts!
Disney's streaming service has managed to launch an attack on Netflix not only through its exclusive content, but also in user portfolios. Currently, a subscription to this service costs € 6.99, or € 69.90 if you wish to subscribe to the 12 month package.
In addition to being quite affordable, it offers many perks that only packages premium Netflix offer. With the base Disney + subscription, users can:

Disney + Exponential Growth Will Continue Through 2020
Despite fierce competition in the world of streaming services, it seems guaranteed that Disney's new service will continue to grow impressively, becoming one of the most popular. According to Credit Suisse, Disney + should have no problem reaching the 20 million subscribed users by the end of the first quarter of 2020.
These numbers are impressive, especially considering that the company had forecast to reach about 14 million during the same period.
