Late last week, the first indications came that the Samsung Galaxy S10 could eventually receive the Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update much sooner than expected. According to the brand's official plans, the high-end should only receive the update in early 2020.
However, several users in Germany confirmed that they were already receiving the update for the new version of Android. Although the former are only members participating in the brand's testing program, since then the rest of the users have started to receive the desired update as well.
Germany is not the only European country where the Galaxy S10 is receiving Android 10
Considering that Android 10 was officially expected on the Samsung Galaxy S10 only during the beginning of next year, the possibility arose that the German market was "testing" for the release of the stable version.
However, today came the first confirmation that the update is already reaching users in the UK as well. For now, it appears that it is only being made available to users who are part of the One UI 2.0 testing program. But this was exactly the same as what happened in Germany.
Therefore, it will be expected that this week other UK users will also receive the stable update from Android 10 to their Galaxy S10.
Given that the update is already being launched in two separate markets, it is believed that the remaining European countries will eventually receive the update before the end of the year.
We can only wait to see if Samsung will release the Android 10 update for its remaining smartphones.
