Cyberpunk 2077 for Google Stadia will be based on the PC version

The tweet published by the CD revealed some very interesting information. Usually when a new game is released, a fixed time is decided, eventually generating a phased release globally. In this case, the CD revealed that the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 for PC and Google Stadia will be done simultaneously.

Having confirmed that the game will be released at 00:01 (GMT) on 10 December, it means that players in the United States will have access to Cyberpunk 2077 on the 9th. In my case, in Latvia, I will have to wait until 2 am.

On the other hand, they revealed that the console versions – PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – will be available at midnight on the 10th, local time. This distinction between the PC / Stadia and console versions, leads us to believe that the version for the cloud streaming service is based on the PC version and not the console version.

Although no information has been published on the subject, this could mean that players on Google Stadia may not be able to take advantage of the improvements implemented for the PS5 and XSX version. On the other hand, it is possible that the PC version is subject to constant improvements over time.

If you want to try Google Stadia, you can see how to do it here, and also take the opportunity to pre-book Cyberpunk 2077 and receive a Christmas gift.
