Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Android
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for iOS
Regarding graphics and gameplay, the game seems to be inspired by the PSP and PS4 version, not the original PlayStation. However, the game is compatible with external controls, which provides an excellent control alternative. The game also supports 6 different languages.
Symphony of the Night is considered one of the best games in the Castlevania series, which originally started on the NES console. Directed by Koji Igarashi, it was the first game in the series to take an exploration approach, not just non-stop action. Additionally, RPG elements have also been added.
Game launch coincided with Netflix adaptation
By coincidence or just marketing, the launch of the game for Android and iOS happened at the same time as the debut of the Netflix series. Simply named Castlevania, the anime-style series has been extremely well received and renewed for a second season, which will premiere on March 5.
The story is based on the legendary vampire hunter Trevor Belmont and his journey to defeat the demonic vampire Draculpa and his armies, who intend to destroy Europe. Belmont meets several characters along the way such as the sorceress Sypha, the pirate Grant and the villain’s own son, Alucard.
