The BQ Aquaris U range, predecessors of the new Aquaris X and X Pro

Spanish construction company BQ introduced its mid-range equipment range about 6 months ago. The BQ Aquaris U have excellent value for money and you will hardly find such a complete equipment considering its price. However, it's almost time for us to officially meet their next tops, the BQ Aquaris X and Aquaris X Pro.

The new Aquaris X and Aquaris X Pro are aimed at the mid-high end market and, according to our colleagues at Andro4all (source), will have well-balanced specifications for the market segment they will try to conquer. Remember that among us, BQ Aquaris U is already available through the operator NOS. Also noteworthy is the fact that the Aquaris X5 Plus started receiving Android 7.1 Nougat yesterday.

The new BQ Aquaris X have already been presented in Spain and tomorrow will make their debut in UK’s lands. We will be present in situ to learn about the new bets for 2017. By then we can already glimpse the features and main weapons of both equipment. To know:

Characteristics of BQ Aquaris X and Aquaris X Pro

BQ Aquaris X BQ Aquaris X Pro
Screen / Screen 5.2 inches Full-HD 5.2 inches Full-HD
Processor (SoC) Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 Qualcomm Snapdragon 626
Operating System (O.S.) Android Nougat 7.1.1 Android Nougat 7.1.1

Several: Fingerprint reader, Type C USB, Quick Charge 3.0, WiFi AC Fingerprint reader, Type C USB, Quick Charge 3.0, WiFi AC

Although it is still too early to assess the merits of smartphones, I think choosing Qualcomm's new mid-range processor, the Snapdragon 626 is a great bet. A capable engine with more than enough RAM and the new version of Google's operating system are just some of its features.

Tomorrow we will know their prices for the national market but I have no doubt that both HRC will be well received in UK.
