The Mobile World Congress has arrived and it's time to see a little more of what BlackBerry brought us. Together with PhoneHouse we took a leap to Barcelona to discover the best of the largest congress in the world.
So one of the first places to stop was BlackBerry. The company unveiled a Key2 model in red, but we were more excited about the LE model. Also known as Lite Edition.
Our simple and fast hands-on shows us a little of the smartphone. A mid range device that gives us the much loved physical keyboard.
This keyboard is the same as the BlackBerry Key2 and has the biometric sensor located on the "space" key of the smartphone. A clever idea that has already earned applause from brand lovers.
Also note that the keyboard can also be used as a trackpad. That is, with simple up and down movements, you can scroll through a web page without having to properly move the screen.
As far as the screen is concerned, the BlackBerry Key2 LE features a 4.5 "inch FullHD resolution LCD display. Colors are acceptable but cannot be compared to a high end.
Specifications include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can always extend this storage with a 256GB MicroSD card.
The rear cameras are quality for the price of the device. The handset features a 13MP camera and a 5MP camera that will make portrait photography much more interesting. The BlackBerry Key2 LE was officially unveiled in October, however I fully believe it is a relevant terminal to bring you in one of our Mobile World Congress videos.
