Beware: Wandavision would have post-credit scenes (and you can miss them)

The UCM post-credit scenes

Even if you’re not a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, chances are you’ve heard about them. The scenes post-credits with images of footage that are broadcast after a movie or series is finished and all the credits of the project have been shown – yes, that long list of names that nobody ever looks at.

In the UCM they became very famous since all of them helped to connect one movie to another, sometimes being a thread of the film itself that we had seen and other times going off on a tangent and surprising us with something different but that helped us prepare for new surprises that were about to hit the billboard – below these lines you have the first of all, when Tony Stark meets Nick Fury and hears about the SHIELD initiative.

The only film that did not offer these types of scenes was Avengers: Endgame, since its directors considered that as its name indicates, this film was a end of the game, an end to a time and a closing for many plots and characters.

With the arrival now of the original series on Disney +, which connect directly with the aforementioned UCM, many expected that the custom would recover, however, so far, Scarlet Witch and Vision It takes three episodes and none of them have given us the longed-for moment. Does it mean we won’t see them again? Is not that what has let us glimpse Jac schaeffer, showrunner of fiction.

‘You have to see it until the end’

In an interview conducted by Entertainment Weekly Wandavision showrunner and creator Jac Schaeffer has brought up the post-credit scenes and wondered why Wandavision does not have them. And it is very likely that you too, like many, will stay waiting after the first chapter for something else to appear, with the consequent “disappointment”:

Interviewer (ET): I know everyone sat watching the credits for the first episode hoping for something. Did you ever consider post-credit scenes in every episode?

J Schaeffer: We study the program in many different ways and with many different structures, but yes. That’s a tough question and I’m having trouble dodging it.

The most interesting thing comes next, however, when the person in charge of the interview finishes finishing the conversation:

ET: […] To be prepared, should we wait for those end credits?

Schaeffer: I’d say on any Marvel property, you should see it in its entirety no matter what. That is what I would say.

The showrunner herself therefore lets it fall that we will see this type of content at some point in the series. It must be borne in mind that the television proposal still has a way to go: the next episode to be broadcast is the fourth and consists of 9 chapters. The post-credit scene could appear in the latter, perhaps linking with the Spider-Man 3 tape or the Doctor Strange 2 movie, so we still have several weeks to enjoy it. Or, surprise us in an intermediate episode.

We have no choice but to recommend that you stay watching each chapter until the end … or not stop reading The Output so that we can notify you when it happens, of course.
