Gran Turismo is a series of car racing video games produced by Polyphony Digital. The saga is exclusive to Playstation platforms. It was announced that a new game of the series would be released this year: GT Sport, one of the most anticipated in the series, and will be on PS4. The game is already in pre-sale in UK and was released today its Beta version.
It began today – Saturday, the 15th – at 14 hours the release of the beta version of the game. PS4 users can take advantage of this opportunity by playing a set of online races during certain times of the day.

Although this beta of the game appeared in the United States in March, it appears only now in Europe.
It becomes available after a select set of US users have contacted a preliminary beta version of the game. The company revealed that this phase was vital to enable them to test the new game infrastructure, and to ensure that they would give players the best possible experience.
The published agenda is as follows:
• April 15 – 14:00 – game release
• Races of the week: from 18 to 21 hours.
• Weekend races: from 4 pm to 7 pm

The game will feature some innovations, notably through a partnership with the FIA - L'Automobile Federation Internationale -.
This includes the latest standard cars modeled to unprecedented detail in Gran Turismo's history.
Beyond the ever popular Nürburgring Nordschleife (North Loop), there are several new circuits that will first appear in the Gran Turismo series, such as the legendary: Tokyo Expressway.
Official Sport Mode races, where top players from around the world will compete, will be organized on weekends and broadcast live. TV quality cameras and live commentary will thus be available in the game.
