Increasingly it seems that major brands in the fashion world are dominating the smartwatch market. The most recent presentation was made by Emporio Armani with its Connected smartwatch.
This is the first Armani smartwatch to feature touchscreen and is on the list of 300 smartwatches that the Fossil Group says it will launch by the end of 2017. After a period of almost no new smartwatches, major brands in the fashion world saw a great opportunity to take advantage of the new wearablesstealing the spotlight from smartphone makers.

Armani launches its first touchscreen smartwatch – Connected!
According to information revealed during the Armani Connected unveiling, the new smartwatch is expected to hit multiple markets in September.
The unveiling of this new smartwatch was made during the Milan Men's Fashion Week that took place over the past week. The center of attention was the American singer Shawn Mendes, who made his walk on the catwalk, making the new Emporio Armani Connected known to the world.
Emporio Connected offers all the basic functionality found in any other Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch. Features include activity tracking, notifications, Google Assistant, and standalone apps.
In addition to the basic features, you will also have watchfaces which will certainly meet the high standards of the brand. Included with the Emporio Connected come 8 different bracelets. This way you do not risk not being able to make the watch match the clothes you are going to wear.
In terms of specifications, not much detail has been revealed. Only it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor and an AMOLED circular screen.
From September 24, the new Armani smartwatch will be available for purchase. It is not yet known what its market price will be. But surely that will be more expensive than the other hybrids of the brand.
