Apple CEO Tim Cook has publicly mentioned that he believes in AR and VR (Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality). Apple is slowly investing time and money in technology development. A good example of this is the adoption of AR applications in the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad.
So it is no wonder that at this moment it is said that the Cupertino company is developing some VR and AR dedicated glasses. The information comes from an internal Apple source and referred to CNET.

According to the source, Apple is currently developing company glasses that will work with VR and AR. Although the prototype is still connected to a computer, the source assured that the goal is to create fully wireless glasses.
There will also be no need to insert the smartphone into the device as we have with Gear VR for example. The source reports that the glasses have an 8K screen ready to reproduce a stream with maximum definition.
Apple looks to the future of AR and VR with 8K screen glasses
It's not the first time we've heard that Apple wants to get into the VR and AR business, however, hesitation leads us to wonder if these rumors really are true.
One thing is certain, Apple is not often among the first to embrace new technology, but when it installs it, technology comes to life.
Take the example of smartwatches, where Apple decimated the competition. Or even the wireless charging that is becoming more and more fashionable after launch on the iPhone 8 and X.
I don't think this new gadget will arrive soon sincerely. It has been stated that only the next prototype will leave the wired connection to the PC, so don't expect to hear about the product at WWDC in June.
