Market Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is one of the most reputed analysts in the industry. As far as Apple is concerned, their analysis and predictions always tend to come to fruition due to their knowledge of the company's supply of cracked apple.
Recently, through Chinese media, Kuo indicates that Apple will reduce the size of the single mirror, or notch, in its iPhones. However, this change will not be realized until 2020, indicating that the 2019 iPhones will continue to have a very spacious notch.
An unchecked iPhone may exist but not for the whole world
Apple is very proud to put its Face ID sensors on notch, justifying their size. However, it is rumored that Apple display vendors are developing frameless and notch panels.
To help these rumors, a report from the Chinese newspaper Global Times indicates that Apple will launch an exclusive China iPhone with biometric sensor under the glass. This iPhone's main objective is to increase sales in the Chinese market at a lower price while maintaining the OLED screen.
So a completely unchecked iPhone may be a reality but only in the Asian market. The rest of the world will probably have to settle for a more conservative and notch design, albeit smaller, according to Ming-Chi Kuo.
