Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has again made one of his famous predictions about Apple. As 2020 approaches, Kuo says Apple will launch 5 different iPhone models over the next year, something unheard of for the brand.
One of these models is the expected iPhone SE 2, inspired by the design of iPhone 8. Apple is expected to introduce this model in early 2020, whose screen will have a size of 4.7 inches and the A13 processor. Compared to the other models, Kuo only mentioned the size of their screens and the camera setup.
- 5.4 inch dual rear camera model
- "12" inch model with dual rear camera
- 6.1 inch "12 Pro" model with triple rear camera
- 6.7 "Triple Pro Camera" 12 Pro Max "Model
As we can see, we have the usual Apple line-up but with a device over 5.4 inches. Not sure where this iPhone will be in the market but it could be a bet on a cheaper iPhone, just like the iPhone 5C
Ming-Chi Kuo gets your information through your contacts with Apple's Asian production lines. Having gotten a closer look at Apple, the analyst has then been able to make accurate predictions about apple products and their characteristics.
Apple will "fill" the iPhone market
If Kuo's predictions are correct, we will have 5 models of iPhones released during 2020. According to the analyst, all models except iPhone SE 2 will come with the Qualcomm X55 modem, which confirms support for 5G technology.
However, the question arises: is it wise for Apple to insert another model into the market? The brand has managed to catch up well with declining iPhones sales in recent years thanks to the launch of the more "budget friendly" iPhone 11. However, an additional model fails completely.
